A MODEL OF INHOMOGENEOUS LAYERS VALID IN A LARGE SPECTRAL DOMAIN AND FOR ANY INCIDENCE

摘要
Materials evaporated by classical methods often give inhomogeneous layers. We have proposed a layer model with an index gradient by adding only one parameter to the classical model: as a result, we obtain a nearly perfect agreement between the optical properties measured and the calculated ones, in normal incidence. In this work, we show that this model is also valid when calculations and measurements are made in oblique incidence, for each state of polarization.
