NEW PROTON-IONIZABLE 3,5-DISUBSTITUTED PYRAZOLE CRYPTANDS ABLE TO FORM TRIPYRAZOLATE-DERIVED DINUCLEAR AND TETRANUCLEAR-COMPLEXES OF CU2+ OR ZN2+

摘要
The new trispyrazole-bisTREN Schiff base 4 and its di-Ag+ complex 6 have been obtained by [3+2] condensation of 3,5-pyrazoledicarbaldehyde (1) and tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (2), in the absence or in the presence of Ag+ ions respectively. Following related methods, di-Cu2+ (7) and tetra-Cu2+ (8) tripyrazolate complexes have been obtained from sodium 3,5-diformylpyrazolate 3 and amine 2. Reduction of 4 with NaBH4 yields polyamine 5, from which di-Cu2+ mono-, di- and tri- pyrazolate complexes (9-11) have been prepared. Using C-13 NMR spectroscopy deprotonation of 5 and formation of di-Zn2+ and tetra-Zn2+ tripyrazolate complexes 12 and 13 have been studied.
