摘要
A priori calculations, similar to those which are successful in the electron-hole liquid in Si, show that the six-valley state is favored on the Si(111)-SiO2 interfaces, contrary to the proposal of Kelly and Falicov. Intervalley-exchange interactions are shown to be negligible. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
