ON THE ANALYSIS OF EXPERIMENTAL-DATA FOR OPTICAL-ABSORPTION IN NONCRYSTALLINE MATERIALS

摘要
A computational technique is proposed for the analysis of optical absorption spectra for a variety of materials in terms of the well established power law for the optical absorption coefficient. Values of the power index n and optical energy gap E0 can be obtained from a linear plot using the standard method of numerical differences for a set of experimental data. © 1990 IOP Publishing Ltd.
