摘要
A total of 463 fecal specimens from human patients were tested for the presence of Camphylobacter by a commercial immunochromatography kit (ImmunoCard STAT! CAMPY), polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and conventional bacteriological (CB) methods. Using culture as the standard of reference, the ImmunoCard STAT! CAMPY assay had a sensitivity of 86% and a specificity of 100%. On the other hand, using PCR as the standard of reference, ImmunoCard STAT! CAMPY assay had a sensitivity of 90.5% and a specificity of 100%. (c) 2012 Published by Elsevier B.V.
