摘要
The developments in vitro polymer production by using an isolated enzyme as catalyst were discussed. Enzymes catalyzed highly enantio-, regio-, and chemoselective streoregulating polymerizations to produce functional polymers. It was found that the enzymatic polymerization enabled the production of biodegradable products from nontoxic substrates and catalysts under mild reaction conditions.
