(Figure Presented) A box of porphine pi: Two types of porphine dimeric assemblies (A and B) are formed in the box-shaped cavity of organic-pillared Pd coordination cages. Depending on the cavity size (see picture, right), the two porphine molecules are π-stacked directly (A) or layered with an aromatic spacer (B). © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
