摘要：

Treatment of the borane Br(2)BFc (Fc = ferrocenyl) with the Lewis base 4-methylpyridine and Na[BAr4f] [Ar-f = 3,5-(CF3)(2)C6H3] afforded the boron dication [FcB(NC5H4-4-Me)(3)][BAr4f](2). This compound is a rare example of a structurally characterized boron dication.
