摘要
An organo-fluorine compound, 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl ether (TTE), was investigated for the first time as the electrolyte solvent in the lithium-sulfur battery. The new fluorinated electrolyte suppressed the deleterious shuttling effect and improved the capacity retention and coulombic efficiency in cell tests. In addition, it was found to eliminate the self-discharge of the lithium-sulfur battery. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
