Evaluation of rate constants for conformational transitions using single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopy

摘要
We develop formulae for translating single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopic data into estimates of the rate constants for slow conformational transitions between two states with different lifetimes of the fluorescent probe. These rate constants cannot be determined separately from the bulk experiment. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
