摘要
Current methods that are the basis for proteome analysis are reviewed. Focus is on mass spectrometric strategies for protein identification from biological matrixes, computational approaches for searching sequence databases, determination of protein expression levels, and characterization of phosphoproteins and phosphopeptides.
