摘要：

In summary, the present case illustrates the potential proarrhythmic risk associated with ICD therapy. Awareness of this risk is important in light of the growing number of devices implanted for primary prevention of sudden cardiac death. Furthermore, this case emphasizes the importance of lead failure and its early detection. Shock delivery should prompt immediate device interrogation if inappropriate ICD therapy is suspected. © 2005 Heart Rhythm Society. All rights reserved.
