Synthesis of dimeric iminoalanes by oxidative addition of azides to (Cp*Al)(4): Structural characterization of (Cp*AlNSi(t)Bu(3))(2) (Cp*=C(5)Me(5))

摘要
The reaction of (Cp*Al)(4) with organic azides offers an alternative synthetic route for the formation of iminoalanes with a low degree of oligomerization. This method was used to prepare the dimeric iminoalanes (Cp*(AlNSiPr3)-Pr-i)(2) (1), (Cp*AlNSiPh(3))(2) (2), and (Cp*AlNSi(t)Bu(3))(2) (3). The crystal structure of 3 was determined by X-ray diffraction study.
