Several metal triflimides in conjunction with chiral ligands have been evaluated in conjugate radical additions. Chiral Lewis acids derived from magnesium and iron triflimides and bisoxazolines gave high enantioselectivity. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
