摘要
The synthetic model chemistry of non-heme carboxylate-bridged metalloproteins was discussed. The structures and oxidation mechanisms of the synthetic inorganic compounds were determined. The processes which proceed via dioxygen activation at the dimetallic center in a biomimetric fashion, and radical reactions that exclude actual participation of the metal active site were also determined. Systems operated in a stoichiometric manner with irreversible decomposition of metal complex were addressed.
