摘要
Just add water: Structurally, cyanobacterial aldehyde decarbonylases are members of the non-heme diiron oxygenase family of enzymes. However, the enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of aliphatic aldehydes to alkanes and formate (see scheme), in an oxygen-independent reaction.
