摘要
Molecular aspects and activities of water oxidation catalysts are reviewed. The structure and catalytic mechanism of photosynthesis is explained with reference to photosynthetic oxygen-evolving center. Catalytic activity in heterogeneous and homogeneous systems are summarized. Artificial photosystem model to induce water oxidation is also analyzed. The study suggests stabilization of molecular catalysts by intermolecular decomposition.
