摘要
The friction weld interface between aluminum alloy and stainless steel was examined using transmission electron microscopy. The amorphous layer formed at the weld interface, and amorphous/crystalline stacked layers were also observed. The amorphous phase was produced in solid state by the complex process of mechanical alloying (MA) and solid-state reaction (SSR) at high temperature.
