The preparation of three molecular assemblies in which a tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) derivative is covalently linked to one, two or four C-60 molecules is reported. The cyclic voltammograms (CVs) of the supramolecules are the virtual superposition of those of their donor and acceptor parts. In addition, UV-Vis spectra are highly similar to those of the TTF precursors, indicating that no spontaneous electronic transfer occurs between the fullerene spheres and the TTF core.
