摘要
A new calix[4]arene derivative in 1,3-alt conformation containing thiourea moieties is synthesized and examined for its anion binding ability by UV-Vis and H-1 NMR studies. The results show that the receptor has selective colorimetric sensing of cyanide over all other anions like fluoride, chloride, bromide, iodide, nitrate. hydrogen sulphate, dihydrogenphosphate and acetate.
