摘要：

The distribution of virus-vector nematodes has been studied in detail in Europe. The resulting maps were used to determine the extremes of the European geographical range of Longidorus elongatus and Xiphinema diversicaudatum. The CLIMEX computer programme was used to fit a model to the known European distributions of these nematode species and project these to ascertain their potential world distribution. Implications for the application of the CLIMEX model to refine quarantine regulations for other plant-parasitic nematodes are discussed.
