摘要
The growing role of biosensors in analytical chemistry is stimulating research to develop new sensors and improve the merits of existing ones. Particularly important are rapid response, high sensitivity and stability in long operational and storage lifetimes. New enzyme immobilization procedures allow better sensor characteristics and examples of such potentiometric biosensors are presented. Biochemically modified ion-selective membranes, prepared using procedures discussed here, should find wider application, e.g. as sensing elements of optodes. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
