Write on target: An efficient and versatile approach to fabricate protein patterns of any shape on a variable length scale is developed. The patterns are directly written in an oligo- or poly(ethylene glycol)-based protein-repelling film by electron-beam lithography. © 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
