CT angiography of the arterial system

摘要
Fueled by advances in CT scanner technology, including faster gantry rotation speeds, multiple detector-row design, and concurrent developments in three-dimensional reformatting techniques, CT angiography of the arterial system has experienced dramatic growth in recent years. This article discusses the basic principles required for optimizing spiral and multi-detector row CT angiography including the selection of scan parameters, contrast medium timing techniques, and three-dimensional post-processing methods. An overview of the relevant clinical applications of CT angiography of the arterial system concludes this article.
