Low-temperature synthesis of nanocrystalline ZrP via co-reduction of ZrCl4 and PCl3

摘要
Zirconium phosphide (ZrP) has been synthesized via a sodium co reduction of ZrCl4 and PCl3 at 350 degreesC. The X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) pattern can be indexed as cubic ZrP with the lattice constant a = 5.25 Angstrom. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) image indicates the product has dendritic morphology and hexagonal flakes. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
