Z-scan formula for saturable Kerr media

摘要
A Z-scan expression is derived for materials with a saturable Kerr index nonlinearity. An approximate solution is obtained for the normalized transmittance. Numerical calculations are given using this formula at near saturation light intensity. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
