摘要
This article reviews the aspects of intestinal adaptation that likely are related to nutrients in general and to glutamine, short-chain fatty acids, and nucleotides in particular. Current understanding allows us to apply the techniques of molecular biology to understand the consequences of nutrient delivery (or lack of delivery) to the intestinal mucosa.
