摘要
Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) from Gosio's mycophenolic acid (MPA) undergo rapid and complete absorption, and completely metabolized to pharmacologically inactive and stable phenolic glucuronide. The compound exhibits antibacterial, antifungal, antitumor, and antiviral properties. The properties help for increasing the susceptibility of animals to fungal infections and preventing various disorders. It is widely used as an immunosuppressant in kidney, heart, and liver transplantation.
