摘要
The principles of host guest chemistry to assemble chiral supramolecular compartments that template a crystalline solid with nanochannels through the lattice has been reported. the appropriate length guest (C7DC), guest binding to DYMC is observed to the lower-coordination number, that is, to the harder DyIII central metal rather than the ring copper atom, revealing that sat DCs can bridge the MC's hydrophobic faces. The attainment of the desired channels requires an appropriate length guest that has a high affinity for the MC s hydrophilic face and a low affinity for the central lanthanide. The absorption irreversible, which suggests there is potential for application of this chiral mesostructure in separations and the preparation of functional solids. The inherent chirality of the compartments can be utilized in enantioselective separations and the preparation of NLO materials by the inclusion of chromophoric guests.
