摘要
Motivated by the need of spectroscopic data to better understand the astrophysical rp-process, we developed a new experimental method using the Grand Raiden magnet spectrometer to study proton rich nuclei with alpha and He-3 induced reactions. First results of the Mg-24(He-4,He-6)Mg-22 reaction at 206 MeV and 0degrees are presented, showing states relevant for resonant reaction rate calculations of the proton capture Na-21(p,gamma)Mg-22 and the Ne-18(alpha,p)Na-21 reaction which controls the break-out of the hot CNO cycles at X-ray burst conditions.
