We synthesize the ultrathin MoS2 nanosheets perpendicular to reduced graphene oxides (MoS2 perpendicular to RGO) as an electro-catalyst, which exhibits excellent catalytic activity and good stability for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in acidic medium.
