Now available for combinatorial compound libraries, vinylogous sulfonyl peptides like 1 may have potential as components of enzyme inhibitors. Newly developed solid‐phase synthesis of these compounds (shown schematically below) opens up these possibilities. • = polyoxyethylene‐grafted crosslinked polystyrene resin. (Figure Presented.)
