摘要
We investigate time-dependent tunneling of wave-packets through heterostructures by numerically solving the time-dependent effective mass Schroedinger equation. In particular, we analyze the effect of the form of the initial wave-packet on the energy-dependent transmission coefficient, discuss various time-scales related to resonant tunneling, and study effects of applied fields.
