摘要
Two trace (0.7 and 2.2 x 10(-7)% yields) potent antineoplastic macrocyclic lactones termed spongistatins 8 (2a) and 9 (2b) have been isolated from the African marine sponge Spirastrella spinispirulifera and found to be very potent inhibitors of glutamate-induced tubulin polymerization.
