摘要
Models are developed to illustrate the influence of surface roughness on particle size predictions derived from (dispersed phase/support phase) photoemission intensity ratios. Both low area model systems and high area practical catalysts are considered. Example applications in studies of palladium dispersed on alumina suggest that a diamond-type model combining the effects of surface roughness and a high surface area provides reasonable particle size estimates for practical catalysts. © 1990.
