摘要
The perturbation method Tenser LEED designed for the fast calculation of LEED intensities is extended to handle thermal isotropic vibrations of surface atoms. This Thermal Tenser LEED method allows one to test the influence of atomic vibrations in a fast and effective way. Differently bonded atoms or atoms in different layers can be allowed to vibrate with different amplitudes. By application to experimental data we demonstrate that layer dependent Debye temperatures can be determined simultaneously improving the quality of the theory-experiment fit in surface structure determination by LEED.
