SPIN SPITTING OF CYCLOTRON-RESONANCE IN THE CONDUCTION-BAND OF ZNTE

摘要
We report the experimental observation of nonparabolicity in the conduction band of a II-VI semiconductor. Optically detected cyclotron resonance in ZnTe shows a spin splitting which is proportional to the square of the applied magnetic field. The observed spin splittings at two different far-infrared energies are in excellent agreement with theoretical calculations.
