摘要
A rare example of a P-H phosphinidene cluster complex, Fe3(CO)9(mu3-PH)2 (1), is prepared by hydrolysis of the silylphosphinidene precursor, Fe3-(CO)9[mu3-PSi(i-Pr)3]2. A range of reactivity is accessible at the mu3-PH site of this intact molecular cluster including reactions of electrophiles at phosphorus following removal of a phosphorus-bound proton in 1 as well as reactions of nucleophiles at phosphorus following, conversion of the P-H moiety to a P-Cl functional group using CCl4 as a chlorination agent.
