近二十年对外汉语教学领域汉英语法对比研究综述

In the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, contrastive grammatical studies between Chinese and English started in the 80's. It covers grammatical phenomena common to Chinese and English, involving some lexical and syntactic items and sentence patterns. During the 90's the content and dimension of contrastive studies were deepened and expanded and new methodology introduced. The author concludes the paper in the following suggestions: 1) establishing a pedagogical system of contrastive studies between the Chinese and English grammars; 2) combining the contrastive studies of forms and semantic categories which are complementary to each other; 3) further expanding the scope of contrastive studies; and 4) pushing the studies to a new height by employing up to date means.
