摘要
Frantisek Svec at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Christian G. Huber at Saarland University (Germany) focus on the development and applications of monoliths that simultaneously maximize permeability and mass transfer. Their ease of preparation, tolerance of high flow rates, and rapid separations at acceptable back pressures may make them superior to packed columns in some applications. © 2006 American Chemical Society.
