Changes in biomolecular conformation seen by small angle X-ray scattering

摘要：

The application of small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) to the changes of conformation of biomolecules was discussed. SAXS measurements provide global information on the size and shape of biomolecules in solution as compared to other methods that usually measure local probes. It was observed that the SAXS seems to very useful in characterizing global changes in size and shape of partially folded states of proteins and of RNA.
