摘要
Star treatment: Host molecule tris(isonicotinoyl)cyclotriguaiacylene self-assembles with Pd(NO3)2 to form a [Pd 6L8]12+ metallo-supramolecular cage of over 3 nm in diameter that resembles a stella octangular structure (see picture). ESMS and DOSY NMR studies show the assembly also exists in solution with a hydrodynamic radius of approximately 19 Å. (Figure Presented). © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
