摘要：

A method for the synthesizing γ-CuI nanoparticles from various copper salts and elemental iodine through an ethanol thermal process was proposed. The experiments were carried out with different copper salts and I2 to investigate the effects of reactants on the synthesis of CuI. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was applied to determine the morphology and particle size of as prepared products. The effect of the reactant on the morphology was attributed to the difference of the reactants in their solubility and the position resistance of their anions.
