Full-Swing and High-Gain Pentacene Logic Circuits on Plastic Substrate

摘要
We demonstrate low-voltage full-swing p-type transistor-based organic digital logic circuits with high gain on a plastic substrate. A solution-processed polyvinyl alcohol gate dielectric layer with a UV crosslinker enabled a low-temperature process without any photolithography step. The transistors had an average carrier mobility of 0.48 cm(2)/V . s, and the inverter circuits showed an average voltage gain of 14 with a single power supply of -6 V. We adapted a bootstrap structure to obtain full-swing outputs and higher voltage gains than conventional p-type-only circuits. A NAND logic gate was also implemented and tested.
