Two immunogens (5,6) and two probes (fluorescent 7 and chemiluminescent 8) were prepared from benzyl ester (-)-10. These immunoreagents (5,6 and 7,8) are useful for detection of collagen cross-link (+)-deoxypyrrololine (Dpl, 4), and for development of assays for osteoporosis. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
