Catalytic... This review describes monoclonal catalytic antibodies that catalyze the hydrolysis of ester, amide, carbonate, and carbamate. Focus is on aspects of hapten design, selection strategy, and their consequences. The purpose is to provide an understanding of how designer protein catalysts are created using the immune system.
