摘要
Acenes are polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons consisting of fused benzene rings in a rectilinear arrangement. This review is a survey of the structures of acenes with a substantial degree of twisting deformation. Topics covered are "simple" twisted acenes, benzannulated acenes, twisted azenes with mixed substituents, twisted quinones and naturally-occurring twisted acenes.
