摘要
Parvovirus toxicity is characterized by its remarkable specificity for defined target cells, in particular some neoplastic cells. The production and activity of the parvoviral non-structural (NS) proteins appear responsible for at least part of this effect. Recent molecular analyses of NS proteins regarding the control of DNA replication and gene expression haw begun to provide insights as to possible mechanisms of parvovirus cytotoxicity.
