摘要
Simply efficient: The homogenously catalyzed hydrogenation of CO 2 to methanol is achieved by using a ruthenium phosphine complex under relatively mild conditions (see scheme; HNTf 2= bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide). This is the first example of CO 2 hydrogenation to methanol by using a single molecularly defined catalyst. Copyright © 2012 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
