摘要：

Three major factors contribute to the broad utility of catalytic asymmetric Heck cyclizations in the construction of complex structures. It is certain that many more applications of catalytic asymmetric intramolecular Heck reactions will be described. As such, some use is found in the small number of ligands, with Noyori's BINAP ligand being the most widely employed.
